This Christmas, John Travolta, a well-known star, takes a moment to express his gratitude to fans who have been his regular supporters during his long career.
“I just want to take this moment to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the last 50 years of your love and support,” he says while standing in front of a Christmas tree.
“Not a day goes by where I don’t appreciate the life you’ve given me. It’s been a great, great time and I thank you, really. Merry Christmas,” the actor says in a clip which he posted on Instagram.
Amid this positive message, John, in contrast, endured several sufferings in his life. Losing his oldest kid, Jett, to a seizure in 2009, as well as his beloved wife, Kelly Preston, to breast cancer in 2020.
However, the actor did not let these tragedies define him. His daughter, Ella, who has been brought up to be accustomed to the spotlight, recently opened up about how she remains grounded.
“What helped a lot was having my family constantly around, and I’ve always had such good friends and such a supportive family,” the 25-year-old shares in a recent interview on Youtube as she herself joins the acting field.
“Keeping that support group made it a really nice upbringing and didn’t allow for a lot of negativity to creep in there, which helped a lot… “LA does feel like home for sure,” she concludes.
