Snoop Dogg is looking to hire someone to travel the world tasting ice cream and reporting on dessert trends.
The rapper announced the opportunity for his ice cream brand, Dr. Bombay, on August 27, saying he’s offering $10,000 per month for the position. The payments will be made in the applicant’s local currency.
The role is a three-month position, which involves exploring different frozen desserts, cultural food trends, and unique flavour combinations from around the world. No culinary background or professional food experience is required.
While the position is remote, the selected candidate will need to travel to explore new flavours and trends before reporting their findings back to the brand. Snoop explained that hiring will be managed through a global employment platform to make the international hiring process easier.
The job description sums up the role in four simple steps, “Taste. Travel. Discover. Report.” Besides trying new desserts, the person hired will also help track viral food trends, create content for social media, and contribute ideas for future flavours and brand campaigns.
The brand says it’s not looking for a traditional food critic, and instead welcomes applicants from a wide range of backgrounds, including content creators, students, and entrepreneurs. Applicants must speak English and hold a valid passport.
