Madonna recently revealed that her successful musical career has caused severe lifelong damage.
The 57-year-old American singer-songwriter and record producer gave an interview to Interview Magazine, where she shared that she cannot work out every day after damaging her knees.
Madonna told the outlet, “I have a bad knee now. I have no cartilage in it, thanks to dancing for so long in high heels and running on pavement and doing Ashtanga yoga.”
“Up until a year ago, I was jumping on trampolines and doing dance cardio and doing a lot of what a doctor would call loading on my joints. Can’t do that anymore,’ the Queen of Pop unveiled.
She had to make changes in her exercise following her injury because a workout should not be skipped as it “keeps your f******* body moving.”
“So now I do Peloton bikes and the Versa Climber and high-intensity circuit training. I ride my bike outside a lot. I dance,” the Back That Up To The Beat songstress shared.
It is pertinent to mention that Madonna has been dealing with her knee injury for years and it has affected her career significantly, as she had to postpone one of her Madame X shows in October 2019 that had to take place in Brooklyn, New York.
