Nikki Glaser nearly pulled off wedding heist at Taylor Swift’s big day

Nikki Glaser wanted to “steal” one key souvenir from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s big day but ended up not doing so.

Among Taylor and Travis’ 1000 wedding guests, Nikki was also on the list and the actress was delighted to attend the couple’s star-studded celebrations at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

Recalling the big day during her stand-up show at Caesars Palace Las Vegas, the comedian said, “I got really close to just stealing something from it because I was like, ‘I want one cool artefact from this.’

“So, it was late in the night, and everyone’s kind of drunk, dancing on the dance floor, and I’m back by the cake vaping.”

She went on to say, “I am watching the dancing. It’s like Mark Zuckerberg doing the robot, which is just him standing. Jelly Roll is doing the worm—or having a heart attack.

“I look up at the cake, and on the top tier where the two little cake toppers are, it’s just Travis. Taylor’s missing, and I’m like, ‘Someone already took Taylor, I’m taking Travis.’ This is the perfect thing to get. And there’s no cameras, no one has phones, so I was like, ‘No one will know it’s me.'”

But at the last moment, Tom Cruise interrupted her move, “So I reach up, I get it. I’m two seconds from putting it in my purse. It’s almost in there, and then I hear Tom Cruise be like, ‘Put me down,’ and I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh!'”

Nikki also shared how, during the wedding, her family was concerned about her safety as she had no contact with them.

She recalled, “I am in there for 12 hours, and none of my family or friends know where I am.

“I’m just off the grid for 12 hours. They’re texting me. My location’s off. They all thought I killed myself because I wasn’t invited, but I was actually inside, and I have nothing to show for it, because I had to turn in my phone.”
