Mel C has officially tied the knot, becoming the final Spice Girl to say “I do.”

On Saturday, the singer, 52, got married to Australian model Chris Dingwall In an intimate ceremony.

The ceremony was attended by fellow Spice Girls Emma Bunton, Mel B and Geri Halliwell-Horner, while Victoria Beckham was unable to attend due to commitments in the United States, as reported by Daily Mail.

Despite her absence, Beckham still played a meaningful role in the wedding by designing Mel C’s elegant backless bridal gown, reportedly gifting the dress to her longtime friend as a special wedding present.

An insider told the outlet, “It was a gift from Victoria, they are really close. Victoria would have loved to have been there if she could.”

“It was her ‘great pleasure to make the dress for Mel,” they added. “She was sad she couldn’t be there because she’s in US with David and of course the World Cup plans had been set for a long time.”

“But she was wishing her all the best from afar for Mel’s special day,” the insider shared.

About the wedding sources revealed that Mel C and Chris Dingwall wanted “an understated wedding, she didn’t want a big flashy day but something smaller and very classy.”

The insider further shared, “Mel swore she would never get married having a big do wasn’t really for her. It is the perfect venue for them, totally out of the way but in the most beautiful place and everyone had the most fantastic time.”

“Victoria couldn’t be there but she loves Mel, and she will have made sure that she sent a beautiful present,” they added further.

The newly-wed couple first met on the exclusive dating app Raya in 2023 before making their relationship public the following year. Earlier this year, the singer hinted that marriage had become a possibility despite previously believing it was never part of her future.
