Taylor Frankie Paul’s legal dispute with ex Dakota Mortensen takes major turn

Taylor Frankis Paul will not be facing domestic violence charges in her ongoing legal situation involving her ex, Dakota Mortensen.

The Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office officially cleared ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ star of any charges on Tuesday.

As reported by Deadline, DA Sim Gill’s office released a statement that reads, “After reviewing reports and evidence submitted to the Draper Police Department and West Jordan Police Department, the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office has declined to file charges against Taylor Frankie Paul.”

Taylor and Dakota have been fighting over allegations of domestic violence against each other, which led them to lose multiple television projects.

The production of Taylor’s reality series was temporarily paused, and ABC axed the new season of ‘The Bachelorette’ scheduled to release in March. While Dakota’s storyline in Vanderpump Villa was removed following the controversy.

The situation between the former couple escalated in late February when accusations surfaced from both sides.

Later a 2023 video of Taylor throwing chairs at Dakota further grabbed public attention.

Now the case has been closed by the District Attorney’s Office without filing charges against Taylor Frankie Paul, despite public scrutiny.
