Isa Briones has spoken out against disruptive audience behaviour during her current Broadway run.
The Pitt actress who is starring in the jukebox musical Just in Time called out fans who shouted comments at her while she was onstage.
On her Instagram Story, Briones said that some audience members yelled references to her television character during performance.
She wrote, “HEY HEY HEY! Once again, Broadway is not a circus.”
Adding, “Do not yell whatever you want at the performers. Yelling ‘when are you going to finish your charts’ before I sing ‘Who’s Sorry Now’ is so f*cking disrespectful to the performers onstage and your fellow audience members. Y’all are pissin’ me off.”
Briones also went on to write that “Love and light and please remember you are occupying shared spaces and watching art.”
This comes as Isa Briones continues to build her stage career. After making her Broadway debut in Hadestown in 2024, she took over the role of Connie Francis in Just in Time.
It is pertinent to mention that the production has already earned multiple award nominations.
