Travis Kelce prefers this physical pain rather than watching his past dating show
A Brazilian wax comes with a sharp physical pain, but Travis Kelce, a well-known NFL star and fiancé of Taylor Swift, says he would prefer it over rewatching a dating show he hosted in the past: Catching Kelce.
This funny response was in reply to a question from a fan on his podcast, New Heights. The question goes like this, “Would you rather be forced and tortured watching Catching Kelce on a loop for the rest of your life or get Brazilian waxed like Jason?”
In a split second, Travis replies, “I’d rather get Brazilian waxed. Are you kidding me?” Given the pain that comes with it, the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end was unmoved. “But yeah, I’d rather just get my gooch waxed.”
This is not the first time the sportsman took aim at his show, which aired in 2016. “The worst thing I ever did was the dating show,” he said earlier on Bussin’ With the Boys podcast in July.
Moreover, in 2023, he told The Pivot that he did the show for financial reasons. “I was so bad financially my first couple of years.”
He continued, “I literally went through my first couple of checks like it was nothing. My season checks, all that. I was having so much fun, buying whatever the hell I wanted to do, going wherever the hell I wanted to.”
“So I heard about the situation where I can make six figures in two weeks? I was like … ‘This is actually starting to sound a little better.’”
Travis, meanwhile, is preparing for his wedding with Taylor, which is expected to take place next year.
