Actor Gwyneth Paltrow at the New York Women in Film & Television’s 2026 Muse Awards in New York City
Gwyneth Paltrow is one of the OG fashion icons. Her style has always been classy with a hint of eviable passion. And as the actor grows older, she isn’t shy about sticking with the basics and owning a neutral pallete of clothing.
The actor, who recently stepped out for the New York Women in Film & Television’s 2026 Muse Awards in New York City, USA, wore an all-navy fit. She took things a step futher by wearing her own eponymous fashion house, Gwyn. It was recently renamed from G. Label.
The actor wore a navy ensemble for the event. She wore the dark navy version of the Gwyn Beatrice Pleated Skirt, that cost $850 (Rs 79,908), and paired it with her label’s $1,095 (Rs $1,095) Suki Coat. It is constructed from a heavy wool-cashmere blend and featuring faux-horn buttons.
She wore a pair of navy mules from Jude Date, which featured a peep-toe cut at the front. Taking it a step furher, she carried an extremely rare Hermès Kelly bag in black leather and featuring gold hardware.
Gwyneth Paltrow The OG Nepo Baby
During the awards presentation, Gwyneth Paltrow touched on the topic of nepo babies. She said, “I was extraordinarily lucky to be given opportunities early on, probably partly because I’m one of the original nepo babies,” Gwyneth joked, “but I would be lying if I said that that made my path clear.”
“There were many moments when the industry made it very plain that women are expected to stay in their lane and to be graceful and quiet and above all to be one thing. And I’ve never been very good at being one thing,” she added.
People reported that the 53-year-old star also honoured her mother, 83-year-old Danner, who was in the audience. Sharing one of the many lessons her mum taught her, she said, “Mom, you showed me what it looks like to commit fully to a craft, to be insanely creative and brave in your choices onstage, and to carry yourself with so much grace, even when sometimes this industry doesn’t make it so easy. So thank you.”
