Kareena Kapoor Khan knows how to stun regardless of whether it is a Western outfit or a traditional ensemble as well. The actor has been opting for simple looks that elevate her regal stature. This time, she stepped out in Mumbai in a kurta set that ticked all the boxes – elegant, floral and perfect for summer.
Kareena Kapoor Khan turned up to the event, arm-in-arm with her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan. He wore an all-black cotton salwar-khameez with a pair of tinted sunglasses and a black dress shoes. The two of them were pillars of support for the former’s sister, who has been slowly but steadily making her way back to the silver screens.
The 45-year-old actor wore a light blue kurta set from Pero. It featured tiny pink flowers all over the dupatta and the wide-legged pyjamas. The high-neck, long-sleeveed sheer kurta was layered over a sleeveless, floral-patterned top.
The actor and mother of two kept everything else relatively simple. Her hair was straightened, and makeup was dewy. Kareena Kapoor stuck to her tried and true pink lipstick and went heavy on the blush.
The Jab We Met and Kabhi Khushi, Kabhi Gham actor also wore long, dainty earrings with pink stones by the brand Hanut that matched the tiny pink flowers on her outfit. To complete the traditional look, Kareena Kapoor wore a pair of silver joothis that tied the entire look together.
