Olivia Rodrigo celebrating her 23rd birthday in Los Angeles
Olivia Rodrigo has gained massive fame, released 2 chart-topping albums, and amassed most major awards, like the Grammys, Billboard Music, and People’s Choice, too, all before the tender age of 23. The singer recently celebrated her birthday and stepped out as a Birthday Princess, complete with a sparkly tiara.
Coming out of a very public breakup, Olivia Rodrigo spent her birthday surrounded by her family and closest friends. The young singer went out on the town in Los Angeles, dressed in an outfit that closely matched the new merch she has released on her website in the run up to her birthday month and Pisces season.
For her night out, Olivia Rodrigo found and styled the perfect pink Barbie outfit. The highlight of her outfit was the short pink jacket, Burberry’s Fitzrovia Short Trench in Begonia Pink, that she slung over her shoulders. The singer wore a lacy white mini dress adorned with pink and silver embroidery and a plunging neckline. The “Vampire” singer added a pair of Jude’s Haze Peep-Toe Sandals in a light pink shade that complemented her entire look.
The pièce de résistance of Olivia’s birthday fit was the sparkly tiara she chose to wear for the event and even got papped in it.
For her accessories, Olivia carried the iconic Chanel flap bag, which is the fashion house’s 2014 Sequin CC Small Double Flap. It fit perfectly into her girly look as the bag is covered in silver and pink sequins and features a silver leather and chain-link shoulder strap. Rodrigo’s vintage Chanel bag was sourced by Chloe and Chenelle at ultra-luxury re-commerce brand Fashionphile, reports Marie Claire.
On a professional note, Olivia Rodrigo has recorded a new album along with a star-studded ensemble of musicians to help children affected by wars. This charity album, which was recorded at the famed Abbey Road Studios in London over the course of the fall months last year, is finally being released this March.
According to reports by The Rolling Stones, some of the biggest names in the music world have come together to record HELP(2), a compilation album supporting the charity organisation War Child UK. Out on March 6, it will have new songs and covers by Olivia Rodrigo, Cameron Winter, Wet Leg, Sampha, Arlo Parks, Depeche Mode, Big Thief, and many others.
The first single from the album, “Opening Night,” is also the first new song that Arctic Monkeys have released since 2022: a perfectly louche anthem-in-waiting with an instant-classic lead vocal from Alex Turner.
